Project Description

Working with Rogue Archery, we used state-of-the-art digital technologies to personise bow grips for their clients. Firstly putty was applied and sculpted on the original mass-produced grips to fit individual archers’ hands, and then we 3D scanned the part (with the putty) into a digital format. We then used ZBrush to refine the design and remove all defects. Reverse engineering software was also used to make precise bolt holes. 

Finally we used our Markforged carbon-fibre 3D printer to print high-quality, durable bow grip parts.
