Project Description

Working with the Department of Anthropology, National Taiwan University, this project was to digitally restore and 3D print replicas for a sherd (a fragment of a pottery vessel) which belongs to the Shihsanhang Museum of Archaeology.

This sherd was 3D scanned and its cross-section defined. We then created the possible shape of the bottleneck with ZBrush 3D software, together with the colour texture and sculpted details added, all to estimate the possible dimension and style of this pre-historical artifact.
